LUDVIG’S BISTRO

Ludvig’s Bistro is the pride and joy of the small port town of Sitka in southeast Alaska. Chef and owner Edith Johnson teamed up with potter Matt Fiske to produce truly unique hand-crafted plateware for the restaurant. In the shadow of the iconic Mt. Edgecumbe volcano, Edith and Matt spent a day on Kruzof Island near Sitka collecting volcanic ash. Matt then went to work in his studio to create the magic that contributes to a once in a lifetime dining experience at Ludvig’s.
