Alaska Gold

Run by Captain Kurt Hansen, the Middleton is an iconic 100 year old wooden fishing boat plying the waters of Southeast Alaska. I was fortunate to ride along with Kurt and crew on a black cod longline trip in the Gulf of Alaska for Seafood Producers Cooperative out of Sitka. It was a challenging shoot in a precarious environment where I merged my commercial fishing experience with my camera experience to produce some dynamic images.
