ABOUT

I got my start in filmmaking with a point and shoot camera while on a year-long bicycle trip through South America. That led to a passion for visual storytelling and a career spanning documentary, commercial and short-film. I am drawn to the places less traveled and stories untold, a keen listener and proponent of slow travel. I spent five years in Southeast Asia covering stories from Nepal to the Philippines and all points in between. I swapped Asia for an island in Southeast Alaska where I captured the life on commercial fishing boats as well as producing films for various nonprofits and tourism agencies. In addition to my own work, I have been a DP for the NPR Tiny Desk Home Concert, Live KEXP at Home, Alaska PD season II (A&E), The Fishmonger (Outdoor Channel), and Deep Water Salvage (Weather Channel).
